How does booking online with Chauffeur2You work?

Chauffeur2You is an online booking agent, which will provide an immediate quote for a chauffeur drive service to and from a variety of locations. Once a booking has been confirmed, a reference number is produced and we will send you an email which confirms the journey you have chosen. Chauffeur2You use a number of reputable chauffeur companies all chosen for the quality of service that they provide.

How does the service operate?

One day prior to your journey the chauffeur company will call you to confirm the details of the booking using the contact number (s) that you have provided at the time of booking.

On the day of travel they will pick you up from the location stated on the booking.

If this is an airport location the chauffeur will stand inside the arrivals hall holding a board with your name on it.

For all other locations other than home addresses the chauffeur company will agree a designated meeting point with you.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major debit or credit cards however we do not accept American Express or Diners.

Is your site secure?

Our site is secure and this is denoted by the padlock sign which appears on the page and also by the secure certificate that has been registered and can be checked with Geotrust Inc.

If you have paid by credit or debit card we have chosen to use HSBC and your money is paid directly to them. When you book on the website we do not get to see any of your card details.

What if I have changes to my booking?

Prior to your departure all changes can be made via our call centre on 0844 41 555 41. Opening Hours: Mon to Fri 08:30 hrs to 17:00 hrs.
Should you have changes on the day of travel or when you are away, then the chauffeur company should be contacted directly on the contact number provided on your confirmation.

If you have booked on our website you are able to make changes on the site up to 48 hours prior to your first transfer date. You are able to amend pick up times/flight numbers and destinations online by going to Manage My Booking. You will be asked for your booking reference and for the email address originally used.

You can cancel a booking right up to the date of departure but bookings are subject to cancellation fees as set out below.

Is there a charge for amending or cancelling my booking?

Chauffeur2You does not charge an amendment fee unless you wish to amend dates of travel within one month of the original travel date booked, and for which we levy a £6 administration charge. Dates of travel can be amended up to 2 days before the travel date however if the booking is subsequently cancelled there will be a 100% cancellation charge regardless of the new travel dates.

Cancellation fees are as follows:
£6 Charge : Up to 72 hours prior to first date of transfer.
50% charge : Between 72 hours and 36 prior to first date of transfer.
100% charge : If cancelling less than 36 hours prior to first date of transfer.

Which car will fit my party size and luggage requirements?

Ensuring that you choose a vehicle adequate in size for your requirements is your responsibility. However Chauffeur2You provide the following guidelines:

Saloon Vehicle We accept bookings in a saloon vehicle for up to 4 adults with one suitcase and one piece of hand-baggage each. However for your comfort, bookings over 2 adults and one small child with luggage will be allocated an executive estate vehicle

MPV Suitable for 4-7 adults with one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage each. Up to 4 adults with excessive luggage or a wheelchair or golf clubs or skis

What if I want to travel to an airport hotel and back into an airport?

This return journey needs to be booked as 2 single journeys due to different information being required for each journey. Please book the first journey as from Address to Airport Hotel and then the second journey as from Airport to Address. If you need further assistance please call one of our team on 0844 41 555 41.

What if I want to travel to one airport and back into a different airport?

This return journey needs to be booked as 2 single journeys due to different information being required for each journey. Please book the first journey as from Address to Airport using your outbound airport and then the second journey as from Airport to Address using your inbound Airport. If you need further assistance please call one of our team on 0844 41 555 41.

Do you provide car seats?

You are able to request a car seat at the time of the booking and the supplier will endeavour to fulfil all requests. In the event that we are not able to, you are permitted to use your own car seat, which we will then store for you until your return.

What if I am travelling with a wheel chair?

We are happy to carry wheelchairs. However we recommend that an MPV vehicle (People Carrier) is used to ensure that there is adequate space for the wheelchair and other luggage. If you have any queries on wheelchairs then please contact our call centre.

What if I am delayed?

Our suppliers will monitor flight landing times, cruise or train arrival times and adjust our meeting time accordingly. However it is your responsibility to give us the correct information. We cannot be held responsible for not meeting at a designated time if the information we have received is not correct.

What vehicle will be used?

Chauffeur2You gives you the choice of choosing a saloon vehicle or an MPV depending on the number of passengers travelling and the amount of luggage being transported. (See above for luggage guidelines). Chauffeur2You are unable to guarantee a certain vehicle model but do undertake to provide an executive saloon/estate vehicle or people carrier depending on the option chosen.

Examples of typical vehicle types are:
Saloon: Volvo S80, BMW 5 series, new style Ford Mondeo, Mercedes E-Class
MPV: Ford Galaxy, Volkswagon Caravelle, Mercedes Viano.

What should I do if I cannot locate my driver?

In the unlikely event that you are unable to locate your chauffeur please use the Emergency Chauffeur Number which will be on your confirmation.
